1. What are calling cards?

Phone cards are products designed to connect you to local and international destinations at significantly lower rates than using your local operator.

When you use a phone card, you're using a special access number (800 toll free number or, if available, a local access number) to call anyone, anywhere in the world. You initiate the call to a local or 800 access number and then you only pay a small rate to NobelCom, used to cover the international part of the call. 2. How can I buy calling cards?

You can buy them online here at NobelCom in just four easy steps. First you search for calling products to your destination country, then you choose the one that suits you best. Create a free account or login to your existing one, and, pay using your credit card or PayPal account. You will receive your phone card by e-mail, usually within a few minutes. Read more...

3. How can I check my remaining balance?

Log in to your online account and, in the calling products section, you will see all your available products along with the remaining balance. The available balance and minutes will also be announced by the prompt every time you place a call.

If you are using NobelApp, you can also see your remaining NobelApp Credit and Deals in Settings, "NobelApp History".

4. How do I order calling products online?

On NobelCom, you can order calling products in a secure and easy way. We start off with a search, decide on the calling product that is best for you (they differ in terms of rounding, rates and fees) and then go through our simple checkout process.

1.Search: Select the Calling from country and Calling to country on our homepage and click on the orange "Find the best rates" button.
2.Choose: Pick a calling products by comparing the rates and features. Click "Buy Now" to add one or more products to your shopping cart.
3.Checkout: Create an account if you're a new customer or Login if you're a returning customer. You can pay using your Credit Card or PayPal account.

That's it! You will receive your calling product by e-mail - usually within a few short minutes.

5. How do I manually recharge a phone card?

To perform a manual recharge, just login to your account and click the orange "Recharge" button next to each calling card in the "Your Calling Products" menu of the My Account section. Then, next to the PIN you want to recharge, select the amount of calling credit you want to add and click on "Recharge", as shown in the screenshot below:

6. What is PC-2-Phone?

PC-2-Phone is a free desktop application for Windows that can be used by anyone who has a NobelCom phone card! You can download it here.

With PC-2-Phone you will avoid access numbers entirely, regardless of what country you are in. All you need is a computer and an internet connection. You can also send free SMS to any phone number in the world.

7. Can I test the service before I decide to make a purchase?

If you haven't made up your mind yet about buying a card, you can start by getting our free trial. We offer 5 minutes free of charge to all our available destinations through phone cards or NobelApp minutes for your smartphone.

All you have to do is select your "Calling from" and "Calling to" countries. Next, fill in a short form containing your cell phone number and your email address. Within moments, you receive an SMS with a PIN and the access number to use.

Alternatively, if NobelApp is suggested for your calling destination, simply get NobelApp for your iPhone or Android smartphone and your 5 free minutes will be available in the app.

8. How do I use my phone cards?

To place a call follow the steps below:

1.Dial the Access Number. We recommend using Local Access Number, but if none are available for your area, you can always use an 800 Access Number.
2.Enter Your PIN. Enter the PIN that you received with your phone card, in the e-mail inbox. It's used to identify you in our system. Tip: Enable Pinless Dialing, an option that allows you to make calls from up to 6 registered numbers, without being prompted to enter your PIN, during the dialing process.
3.Dial the Destination Number. Dial your destination number in the international format . This will connect you to the person you're calling. Make sure you don't press anything else after you've entered your destination number. If you press the call button on your phone, you will exit our system and you may incur roaming charges with your provider. Tip: if you frequently call certain phone numbers, you can enable Speed Dial from the Products section of My Account for each purchased calling product. You can have up to 9 phone numbers on Speed Dial.

9. Are you using NobelApp?

Simply choose your preferred calling product from the drop down menu at the center of the main screen and dial the number you want to call using the international format. You can also call anyone in your phone book by choosing any entry from the Contacts menu in NobelApp.

10. Can I use the NobelCom cards from outside the US?

All NobelCom calling cards can be used from any country we offer access numbers in. All you need to do is select the appropriate country you will be calling from in the search engine on our home page.

The Hello, Dial, and 1 Second World cards can be used from all around the world (from land lines, cell phones or pay phones) as long as we provide an access number from the country you are in.

11. What is a Local Access Number and a Toll Free number?

A Local Access Number is a regular number in your area that you can use to access our system and make international calls.

Using a Local Access Number will guarantee you get the most minutes possible from your calling card. All the rates advertised on nobelcom.com are based on using one.

Before using a local access number please check with your local phone provider to see how much you would be charged for calling it. Free local calls or free long distance within the US phone subscriptions will ensure that your provider will not charge you for accessing our system.

Go to NobelCom and click on "Access Numbers" on the top of the page and select "US Access Numbers" if you're calling from the US or "International Access Numbers" if you're calling from abroad.

If a Local Access Number is not available for your location, you can always use our toll free access numbers (1.800 numbers). Keep in mind though that using a toll free also implies a surcharge. When calling from the US using a 1.800 access number the rate/minute will be 1 cent higher than the one advertised.

12. How can I benefit from discounts and promotions?

As soon as you sign up with NobelCom, you automatically become part of our Nobel Care program ; you get rewarded for being a loyal customer and we do our best to ensure you get all the support you need. Our special offers include Nobel Points, Birthday rewards as well as regular promotional offers we send out to our newsletter subscribers.

13. What are Nobel Points and how can I use them?

For every phone card you buy, NobelCom rewards you with valuable Nobel Points. For example, for each $20 spent on phone cards, you will instantly receive 10 Nobel Points. If you spend $50, you will receive 25 Nobel Points, and so on. The more you use, the more Nobel Points you gain to use for discounts on future purchases.

If you know people who might benefit from our low cost calling solution, you can refer them to NobelCom using the special Refer a Friend section in your account. You get 100 Nobel Points for each friend that signs up and places their first order. When they sign up and place their first paid order on NobelCom, they also receive 50 Nobel Points in their accounts!

Each 10 Nobel Points account for $1. You can use your points to recharge your account, to get discounts, or you can transfer them to another account on NobelCom or Enjoy Prepaid. Just log into your account and go to "How to Use Your Points"

14. How can I manage my account information?

To manage every aspect of your NobelCom account, first log in to NobelCom.com then go to Account Settings. Here you can edit your current Billing Profiles, delete or add a new one, change your password or email, as well as set up your default language – this can be either English or Spanish.

15. How can I change my PIN number?

If you want to get a new PIN and transfer any remaining balance you have on your old one, along with all the other features you have enabled on it, please call customer service.
You cannot perform a PIN exchange from your online account.

However, if you just want to get a new separate PIN for the same type of card you had before, all you need to do is order a new product, instead of recharging your old card.

16. What is the expiration date for a calling card?

A phone card expires 1 year (365 days) after last use; if no use, 1 year (365 days) after being ordered.

17. Do you have connection fees or any other extra charges?

Most of our cards do not have connection fees. All the details regarding costs and fees are included in the product details for each of our cards no matter the destination. You can check all these aspects before you buy our cards online or by phone, with the help of our 24-7 customer support center.

18. How can I contact the Customer Support Team?

You can get in touch with our friendly representatives anytime. Our Customer Support department is available 24/7, so you can get all the details you need by phone, email or live chat.

19. Can I use Nobel calling cards to call both cell phones and landlines?

Yes, you can call both cell phones (mobiles) and landlines using NobelCom calling products. Please note that there may be different calling products for cells and landlines, with different rates that are optimized for each of these device types. For example, calling cards to Australia are different from the ones for Australia-Cell so make sure you choose the one that suits your needs.
The calling cards specifically designed for cell phones have the word "cell" after the destination. If you want a product that is recommended for both cell phones and landlines, you can try one of the NobelApp specials for your smartphone: Mustang & Elephant Deals.

20. What is the cheapest calling card?

Our phone cards are configured around different calling needs so everyone gets the best value for money.

With a 4-minute billing increment, the Hello phone cards are perfect for making longer international calls. The Dial phone cards are the recommended option when you want to make rather short calls, as it gives you a 1-minute rounding with no connection fee. The One Second phone cards give you a great rate with no maintenance fee and no connection fee, which makes them ideal for placing shorter more frequent calls.

All NobelCom phone cards come with many great options, like PINless dialing, Automatic Recharge and many more. Enjoy making international calls at low rates, and stay in touch with everyone!

21. What is AutoRecharge?

Auto Recharge is a feature you can enable so that your account is automatically recharged every time your balance drops to a minimum level.
You can control the minimum threshold as well as the Auto Recharge amount, and you can also discontinue this option at any time. Using Auto Recharge guarantees your calling continuity.

22. What payment methods can I use?

You can use your credit card, debit card, gift card or PayPal account.
We accept the following credit card types: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. For more details please feel free to contact our customer team.

23. Do I get an invoice?

After each purchase you will receive a confirmation email with the total amount paid and all the relevant information regarding your calling product.

24. How do I order calling products online?

25. What are connection fee phone cards?

Connection Fee Phone Cards are phone cards with lower rates but with a connection fee that applies at the beginning of each call. They are best to use if you rarely make international calls and the calls are usually long.

26. What is pinless dialing and how to activate it?

Pinless Dialing is a great feature that makes the whole dialing process much easier. You can register up to six phone numbers from which you want to place calls using our calling products, and you will not have to dial your PIN anymore!
To activate Pinless Dialing, just log in to your online account using your e-mail address and password and under the "Calling Products" tab you will see the Pinless dialing button, right under the name of your calling card. Click on that, choose the country from the drop down menu and enter your phone number.

27. What are Promo Codes and how do I use them?

We send out promo codes regularly to our newsletter subscribers – so make sure you're subscribed! You can check your subscription preferences from your online account under Account Settings – Special Offers.

You can use promo codes when you add a product to your shopping cart: simply click the "Do you have a promo code?" link and enter your code in the box. Make sure you click Apply. Before you confirm your purchase you'll see the amount of the benefit from the promo code before the order total.

Please note that you cannot use more than one promotional instrument (a promo code, Nobel Points or the special initial offer) for one order.

28. Can I use the calling card from a pay phone?

Yes. All calling cards can be used from a pay phone. Keep in mind though that you have a small fee of 99 cents/call when using the calling card from a pay phone.

29. Excluded countries and numbers

Please note that the standard fee doesn't apply for calling high cost lines with NobelApp Mustang and Elephant Deals. You will be informed of the exact fee that will be charged whenever you place a call to any of these numbers, before your call is connected.

1. How can I get NobelApp?

NobelApp is available for iOS and Android smartphones.

First, install the app on your device:

2. Can I use any NobelCom or EnjoyPrepaid calling card with NobelApp?

Of course! Nobel App is designed to make using our calling cards as easy as possible. Besides your usual phone cards (Hello, Dial, One Second) and calling plans (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Diamond) on NobelCom and Enjoy Prepaid you can also use products specifically designed for the app: Nobel App Credit that gives you the option to make top ups and send SMS from the app as well, Elephant and Mustang special deals that have a unique rate for both landlines and cell phones.

3. What is NobelApp Credit?

NobelApp Credit is a special product designed specifically to work with the app. You can use NobelApp credit to place international calls, just like you do with the other phone cards.

Additionally, it comes with great new features that include sending text messages, sending credit to prepaid cell phones anywhere in the world (Top Ups). You can also see a detailed transaction history for every call, top up or text message made using NobelApp Credit.

4. Why should I use NobelApp credit instead of my regular calling card?

NobelApp credit gives you more flexibility to keep in touch with your loved ones: recharge their prepaid cell phones or send them text messages using the same credit you use to place international calls with.

Other in app features for NobelApp Credit include:

Detailed transaction history for each call, top up or SMS
Rate per minute or per SMS displayed in app
Automatic Recharge settings displayed in app

5. How do I activate a Mustang/Elephant deal on NobelApp?

NobelApp special deals are activated automatically when you place the first call, so you don’t have to do anything to activate them yourself. A special deal that hasn’t been activated yet will have the status “Pending” in your account. You can check the status of your deals in NobelApp under Settings – NobelApp History – Deals History. Alternatively you can log in to NobelCom.com and go to My Account – Your Calling Products.

Please note that you need to activate your Pending deals within 365 days since purchase.

6. How much does it cost to make a call?

For NobelApp Credit, the rate per minute is displayed in the dial pad after you enter your destination number. You can also check the Rates section in the Settings menu of the app as well as on the NobelCom and EnjoyPrepaid websites. For regular calling cards from NobelCom.com and EnjoyPrepaid.com please check the respective websites to get the latest rates.

7. How will I get charged?

Your calls will go through using either your data connection (Wi-Fi or 3G), or through an access number. We recommend using your data connection to avoid extra roaming charges when using access numbers (800 numbers will increase your rate per minute and local access numbers will incur additional charges from your phone provider). Also remember that every connected phone call will have an extra minute charge applied when you use NobelApp Credit.

8. How do I place a call with NobelApp?

To place a call using NobelApp start by selecting your preferred calling product from the drop down menu at the center of the home screen in the app: this can be NobelApp Credit and Deals or any of your NobelCom phone cards or Enjoy Prepaid long distance calling plans. Next, you can either call a contact in your phone's address book from the Contacts tab, or dial a number directly using the Dial Pad tab.

The app uses Wi-Fi to place your call. If there is no Wi-Fi connection available, you can switch to your 3G/4G data plan, or select Local Access Number. If you select the latter option, the app will identify and dial the access number automatically for you, as well as the PIN.

Don't forget that the destination number must be in the international format (with country code). For example: for calls to the United States dial: 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX, for calls to UK dial 44 XXXXXXXXXXX

9. How can I switch between my calling products, including the deals?

You can switch between the different calling products available in your account using the drop down menu at the center of the main screen of the app. Alternatively, you can tap the Settings menu and change the preferred calling products you want to call with from the Products section at the top.

10. I want to buy Credit or Deals directly in NobelApp. How do I do it?

If you are using the Android versions of NobelApp, you can purchase calling products directly from the app. Just select NobelApp Credit and Deals as your preferred calling product, then tap Buy Credit on the home screen of the app and follow the steps to select your destination country and the deal that best suits your needs.

You can buy as many special deals as you want for your destination(s), and they will be activated successively, as you use up your available credit. All used or expired deals can also be renewed at the click of a button in My Account on www.NobelCom.com.

At the moment, the Buy Credit option is not available on the iOS version of the app but you can still purchase new deals or renew existing ones online on NobelCom.com.

You can also buy NobelApp Credit and Deals online at NobelCom.com/Nobel-App .

Payment methods: we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, PayPal (only for customers registered on NobelCom).

11. Can I get a receipt for my order?

Confirmations of all your purchases are sent to the email address associated with your account.

12. What is Auto Recharge?

By activating this feature, you no longer have to add calling credit manually. Whenever the balance drops below $10, for instance, additional credit will be added automatically. You can choose the limit that triggers the recharges and the amount that is added to your balance.

The following products work with Auto Recharge: phone cards on NobelCom, calling plans on Enjoy Prepaid, and NobelApp Credit.

13. What is a top up?

A top up is a recharge of a prepaid cell phone, local and abroad. From the app home screen click the Top Up icon and enter the number you want to send the credit to. After selecting the country and operator for the respective number, the credit is transferred within moments.

14. Make top ups with NobelApp

To make a top up with NobelApp, you need to have NobelApp Credit available on your account. Once you’ve selected NobelApp Credit and Deals as your preferred calling product, tap TopUp on the home screen of NobelApp and simply enter the phone number you want to recharge using the international format (for example, for Top Up to the United States dial: 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX, for Top Up to UK dial 44 XXXXXXXXXXX) and follow the steps.

Please note that you cannot make top ups using credit available in special deals or PIN products.

15. Send international SMS (text messages) with NobelApp

To send an SMS with NobelApp, you need to have NobelApp Credit available on your account. Once you’ve selected NobelApp Credit and Deals as your preferred calling product, tap SMS on the home screen of NobelApp and simply enter your message and the phone number you want to reach using the international format (for example, for SMS to the United States dial: 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX, for SMS to UK dial 44 XXXXXXXXXXX). The limit per one SMS is maximum 160 characters.

Please note that you cannot send SMS using credit available in special deals or PIN products.

16. Does my credit card get charged every time I recharge a prepaid cell or send an SMS with my NobelApp Credit?

No. Your credit card is charged only when you purchase NobelApp credit. The cost of your calls, top ups and send SMS's is deducted from this credit.

17. How can I get the best call quality when using NobelApp?

When available, NobelApp uses Wi-Fi or your 3G/4G data plan to place your call. If the internet connection is poor, this will also affect the quality of your call. For optimal call quality we recommend you have access to a stable internet connection, either Wi-Fi or through your data plan.

18. Where can I check the status of my Mustang or Elephant deals?

You can check the status of your NobelApp special deals directly in NobelApp: tap Settings and go to NobelApp History, then tap the Deals History section. Here you will see all the deals purchased in your account. They can be Pending (a deal that hasn't been activated yet by placing the first call), Active, Used or Expired (deal validity period expired or the deal was not activated during 1 year since the purchase date).

You can also check the status online, by logging in to NobelCom.com in My Account – Your Calling Products.

19. Where can I see my call history?

You can check your call history directly in NobelApp: tap Settings and go to Nobel App History in the Call History section. Here you will see all the calls placed using NobelApp.

20. What is the Live Help section?

You can use the Live Help section to communicate with our support staff. They are available 24/7, any day of the year. Additionally, on special occasions you will find dedicated promo codes here, that you can use to purchase NobelApp Credit or phone cards.

21. Can I use the app in offline mode?

Yes, NobelApp also works in offline mode. If your internet connection is poor we recommend using local access numbers or an 800 toll free number – but please make sure you select the access number before you put the app in offline more. Also, do note that because the app cannot access our servers, it make take longer to load than usual.

22. How do I use NobelApp when travelling abroad?

Typically, phone companies charge high rates for both calls and data usage when you use your cell phone abroad. To avoid them, you can continue to make your calls with NobelApp by setting the app to work only when you have Wi-Fi access. Using NobelApp through 3G/4G or with an access number will incur charges from your mobile network provider.

23. How do I refer a friend and what are the benefits?

You can invite any of your friends via email. To send invites go to Settings - Invite friends. The Invite option is also available for each of your friends in the Contacts list.

Whenever a friend you invited signs up and places a paid order on the website you referred them to, you get the equivalent of $10 in Nobel Points, and your friend gets $5 that you can both use on future orders to get discounts.

24. Why am I being blocked out of my account?

You can use your NobelApp account on one mobile device only. For security reasons, we will block the account if we detect it’s being used on multiple devices. To help you regain access to your account, please contact our 24-7 customer support center.

25. How can I make a top up using NobelApp?

To make top ups using NobelApp you need to have NobelApp Credit selected as your default product. The amount of your top up will be deducted from your available NobelApp Credit.

From the app home screen click the TopUp icon and enter the number you want to send the credit to. After selecting the amount and operator for the respective number, the credit is transferred within moments.

A top up is a recharge of a prepaid cell phone, national or from abroad. With NobelCom you can top up cell phones in over 300 mobile networks worldwide.

2. When is the top up delivered to the phone number I want to recharge?

The top up will be delivered instantly directly to the phone number you choose to recharge.

3. How can I make a top up online?

To make a top up online visit the dedicated Prepaid Cell Recharge section on NobelCom and simply enter the phone number you want to recharge, including the correct country code.

Next, choose the operator and the sum you wish to recharge. Confirm that you agree with the Terms and Conditions and add the top up to the shopping cart. From here, all you need to do is follow the simple checkout process: log in to your NobelCom account or create a new one, and confirm your purchase.

4. How can I make a top up using NobelApp?

Nobel Express is a food delivery service from Nobel. With Nobel Express you can order basic food items to be delivered to our designated delivery areas.

2. Where is the service available?

The service is currently available in the US and we deliver to the following areas in Liberia: delivery in Monrovia to major crossings, Firestone Herbel market & Smell No Taste Junction, Kakata Market and Grand Gedeh County.

3. What types of products can I send?

At the moment we offer basic food items such as rice, vegetable and palm oil and other bundles. You can check out our entire offer here.

4. Can I track the delivery of my purchase?

Yes. The Sender receives the order confirmation by SMS right away. We also let the Recipient know that their package is on the way.

As soon as the package is ready to be handed over we schedule all the details via a third SMS to the Recipient.

5. Do you deliver door to door?

Currently delivery is made to the nearest intersection to the designated address due to infrastructure restrictions. The delivery will be scheduled with the recipient over the phone.

6. When will my order be delivered?

Nobel Express are delivered according to the schedule below:

Next day delivery (Monday to Saturday) in Monrovia to major crossing
Tuesdays: Firestone Herbel market & Smell No Taste Junction
Wednesdays: Kakata Market - LBDI office
Next day (Mo-Sat) delivery to major crossings within Grand Gedeh County.
